Welcome to Latice. By playing Latice (the "Service") at latice.com or through any Latice app, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is intended for players aged 13 and older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You can play Latice without signing in. If you sign in — to keep your progress across devices, play friends, or subscribe — you are responsible for keeping your device and account secure. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app; see Delete account.
Latice Plus is an optional pass that unlocks board themes and other extras. Prices, what is included, and the billing period are shown before you buy. Web purchases are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms; purchases made through an app store are governed by that store's terms, including its refund policy. A subscription renews until you cancel it; cancelling stops future charges and keeps what you paid for until the end of the current period. Tips ("Support Latice") are voluntary and non-refundable.
The Service lets you invite friends, match with other players, and send short messages in the lobby. You agree not to post or send anything that is harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, threatening, or that shares someone else's personal information, and not to impersonate anyone. Display names and messages are checked by automated filters and may be reported by other players; we may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.
The Service — its code, artwork, board themes, music, sound, and puzzle content — belongs to Latice or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these Terms gives you a licence to use it outside normal play.
The Service uses Firebase (Google) for sign-in, cloud saves, multiplayer and analytics; Cloudflare for hosting; and Stripe for web payments. Your use of those services through Latice is subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy for what data is involved.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular opponent, puzzle, or theme will always be available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Latice and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these Terms; the date above changes when we do, and continuing to play after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or end access to the Service for anyone who breaks these Terms.
